The
Conference Centre at LACE is further
enhancing it’s food offer by introducing menus with the
emphasis firmly on
local produce, from places including Halewood, Knutsford, Lancashire, Southport and Wirral.
Customers
are being offered a range of
choices which can be tailor made to suit individual tastes. Options
include
business breakfasts, three course lunches and gala dinners.

Hitchen, says ‘When we started exploring local produce, we
discovered there is
an abundance of high quality homegrown food on our own doorstep. The
demand for
local produce is higher than ever and we are now able to offer our
customers
the quintessence of British cuisine. It also gives us the opportunity
to
support local businesses with the added benefit of helping the
environment by
significantly reducing the air miles involved in the delivery of
overseas
produce.’
