The Conference Centre at LACE was presented with the prestigious Greater Mersey Food Charter Award on Wednesday, 16th August. The Charter, which has been developed by Heart of Mersey and Liverpool John Moores University, recognises the need to offer people healthy choices when eating away from home.
The daily menu at LACE always includes healthy options such as salmon, asparagus and yellow pepper crepes. Chef Mark Bond says ‘healthy eating must be encouraged as an essential part of modern living. We deliberately widened the range on offer in our salad bar in response to the trend and it is proving to be immensely popular.’ |
